Same-Day Boiler Repair in Wimbledon

The Brief

A landlord in Wimbledon called to say the boiler in the house she rented out was leaking badly. A well known company had been called out to change the fan. In doing so the engineer had inadvertently caused several pin-hole leaks in the hydraulic manifold, which had in turn flooded the main circuit board. After losing confidence with that company, she chose to call us on a recommendation from a neighbour.

What We Did

• Made it safe: Ensured safe isolation from electricity and gas before any work began.
• Stopped further damage: Drained the system and isolated the mains water to the appliance to prevent any more water getting in.
• Same-day repair: Sourced the required parts locally and carried out the repair the same day, replacing the damaged parts and getting the boiler back up and running.

The Result

Hot water back on for the tenants and a relieved landlord.
